Through specific provisions, Bill 96 does not apply per se to any production made in Quebec in a language other than French.
If a production filmed in the province of Quebec hires over 25 people for a period longer than six continuous months, the production will be asked to fill out a form indicating so and stating that the production is in another language than French.
Many Quebec vendors such as law firms or service providers that producers already work with can prepare and file these documents, much in the same manner they already file documents for the tax credit claims on behalf of producers.
