QUÉBEC FILM SOURCEBOOK

Launched in 2024, the Gaspe Film Commission, with its extensive expertise, was set up to facilitate the filming of fiction films (shorts and feature films), documentaries, advertisements, and television series throughout the Gaspe region. The Film Commission will cover the five administrative MRCs in Gaspe, namely Avignon, Bonaventure, Rocher-Percé, Côte de Gaspé and Haute Gaspésie, and will thus advise free of charge, all producers, directors, and location managers, to ensure successful filming. One specific mission of the GFTC will relate to the training of Gaspe’s cinema tech and artists, to stimulate the local industry. The GFTC plans on offering continuing training to them and will also create opportunities to ensure that our youth discover the various professions available in the industry and understand the opportunities for them. Services Thanks to the GFTC, filming in the Gaspe region will be a a walk in the park!
