Montreal, August 20, 2020 – The Quebec film and television council (QFTC) is pleased to welcome Valérie Daigneault to its team as Director of the Secretariat of the Audiovisual Cluster. She will officially take up her position on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
Valérie Daigneault has been working in the cultural field for more than ten years now. Over the course of her career, she has held, among other positions, the positions of production director and director of the events and shows department at Productions J, a well-established cultural company in Quebec.
Valérie Daigneault currently holds the position of Director of the Events Department at the Fondation du CHUM (Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal), where she helps organize major philanthropic events and establish partnerships with several companies.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from HEC Montréal and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in organizational development at Université Laval.
Ms. Daigneault will be supported by Ms. Anne Fossier, Project Manager for the Audiovisual Cluster.
The QFTC would also like to acknowledge the work of Romain Paulais, former Director of the Secretariat of the Audiovisual Cluster, who held this position for more than 5 years. He has enabled the development of many projects that have contributed to the dynamism of Quebec’s film and television industry.
